Filler Testing Manager

Your Opportunity

Sidel is looking for a Testing manager for filler machines, that will report to the Assembly & Testing manager in Parma. The main focus is the following: Accordingly to company procedures and lean methodology, manage the testing resources in order to reach the Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost targets for each equipment. Through experience and training, apply new skills and develop the growth of resources.

Your Mission

• Lead and manage testing engineers to performs the activities according to safety rules and standards defined, highlighting and implementing possible improvements and preventing dangerous or unsafe behaviors
• Responsible for safety and security of assigned resources (peoples and tools)                   
• Responsible for the machines in test and related areas (Safety & Security)         
• Responsible for the conformity of the equipment to the technical specifications
• Ensure the quality of the equipment and the related documentation in compliance with the procedures
• Analyze issues with RCA and implement preventive actions together with involved department
• Promote, support, contribute the initiatives of continuous improvements.
• Guarantee workplace is kept clean and well organized applying 5 S methodology                           
• Guarantee testing resources perform the activities according to specific needs and the standards agreed, managing the workforce in order to optimize the workload among different tasks.
• Track and develop for all the resources skill improvements                                                                       
• Coordinate subcontractors in order to reach the targets for each equipment                                    
• Interface between testing department and the other functions (Final Assembly, WH, Technical Dept., Procurement, Industrial Eng., Quality, Etc)

Your Profile

Level of education and languages

• Technical educational background
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Lean methodology knowledge is a plus
• English written and spoken

Required experiences and skills

• Experience of min. 5 years in beverage industries
• Leadership and team working
• Result Oriented
