Your Opportunity
Operate software to generate the code to drive CNC equipment such as machining center, CNC lathe or generate manually or automatically the numerical control (NC) program to fabricate mechanical parts on same equipment.
Define or support technical operators and line leader in production (Tools, fixture, machining process, machines). Act as a technical referent for the mold shop and for the application of best manufacturing processes.
Your Mission
- Create manually or automatically (through an automatic tool) a program for a milling or lathe machine
- Define list of tools and fixtures required, manage tools and fixtures catalogues per machine, trigger tools orders
- Apply standard operation procedures and safety rules, report any deviations
- Participate in or lead the definition of fixture, cutting tools and standard operating procedures for mold shop machines
- Control and support the cutting tool management
- Participate or lead quality, cost and lead time improvement process
- Propose or lead actions to optimise set-up and cycle time. Act a as referent for One Line in terms of technical support
- Control software utilisation and lead the implementation of new equipment and upgrades
Your Profile
- Ability to read drawing, NC operation system
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, UG, PRO-E, DELCAM
