Your Opportunity

Sidel is looking for an Information Security Senior Analyst to work in our growing Information Security Office team in Mexico. The candidate will be responsible for operating security incident and fraud management, defining and monitoring technical security controls for the enterprise infrastructure, performing periodical security assessment, and supporting in defining the related remediation plans

Your Mission

Coordinate and execute security projects end to end to safeguard our digital assets and to protect our machines and infrastructure
Coordinate and execute security assessment activities and incident investigations
Coordinate and execute vulnerability management activities. Implements security mitigations and monitor security compliance of infrastructures
Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments
Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them
Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans in the event of any security breaches
Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
test and evaluate security products
Design new security systems or upgrade existing ones
Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
Identify potential weaknesses and implement measures, such as firewalls and encryption
Investigate security alerts and provide incident response
Monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users
Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security
Monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity
Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues
Give advice and guidance to staff on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails

Your Profile

  • Master or Bachelor degree in relevant areas (technical, information security, IT studies preferred)
  • 7-10 years in information security related role, experience in consulting company are a plus
  • Experience with security incident management, fraud investigation and trouble ticketing tools
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration test and related tools
  • Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and evolving environment to drive delivery of solutions
  • Experience building and implementation risk mitigation programs
  • Experience in projects/activities related to identity governance, incident management and security solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent Fluent English, French and Italian are a plus
  • CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CEH and similar certifications are a plus
