Your Opportunity

In line with Group policies and local (labour) law, the HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site from the HR perspective. Together with the site leader and the local management team, he/she will embrace our goal of sustainable engagement of our workforce: engaged, enabled and energized. He/she also carries an HR Business Partner role to engage together with the entire HR Americas community (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile) their site(s) in the transformation journey needed from the business and the society evolution. He/she will also lead or participate to global HR projects to support the overall group HR strategy. The HR Manager reports to the VP HR Americas based in Norcross and supervise the local Pay-roll Expert.

Your Mission

  • Group Policy & procedures: implement HR policies, procedures and processes and drive the related change management.
  • Mexico Local policies & procedure: Ensure all local policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law (Employee Handbook etc.). Ensure line managers understand the policies and are up to date with any changes.
  • Career growth and Succession planning: support talent management programs and succession planning
  • Learning & Development: Ensure proper guidance on development for managers and their teams and support implementation of defined development plans
  • Training: Implement the training and development agenda, identify areas that need attention and improvement.
  • Performance Management: Coach Managers on performance management culture, principles and processes.
  • Compensation & Benefit/Payroll: Lead the salary process locally. Supervise payroll (or perform as back up of the payroll expert). Review Benefit competitiveness through benchmark, coordinate and implement changes if necessary.
  • Employee Administration: ensure proper absence, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness and other cases management as needed.
  • Employee Engagement: Follow EE Survey process, identify areas for improvement, coordinate action plans and follow-up
    Group HR projects participation and/or lead

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • HR Certifications
  • Fluent in Spanish & English
  • Another language would be considered as a plus

Required experience and skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in international companies
  • Strong understanding of Mexican employment law
  • High learning agility on people, change, result and mental agility
  • Multicultural understanding and interest
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills   
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities;
